So here it is. A blog solely dedicated to the one hero who has won innumerable hearts over and over again. One man who was sent on earth for just one purpose, to play cricket and in the process become immortal. One man who with his cricketing brilliance conquered the whole world. Yes, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is a living legend. It is not the number of records he has broken or the number of years he has played, but the shear brilliance with which he has achieved all his feats that makes him a class apart.
He is given the status of GOD, the untouchable being, the hero and many more by his ardent followers. It is because of his simplicity, humbleness and down to earth attitude. Never in his two decade long career has he showed any signs of pompousness or arrogance on and off the field. He has never been involved in any controversy of his own doing and most importantly loved playing the game just like he did when he was 14 years old. The most important part of the story and also the most fascinating is that he is still churning centuries and creating sensational stroke play when most of his contemporaries have bid their careers goodbye.
Through this blog I will share some moments of Sachin's illustrious career and some his not so famous facts and quotes. Would love to have comments and opinions. The other blog was getting too serious for this stuff :P
